We are simply trying to be New Testament Christians.  When you visit us, you will experience a peace and harmony most appreciate.  We welcome everyone with a genuinely felt greeting.  Almost everyone mentions the warm welcome and closeness they feel immediately.  Emulating the kindness of the New Testament church comes easy for us and we enjoy sharing the spiritual blessings of God freely and openly.  Whether in worship or Bible Study or Fellowship time,  we simply believe Jesus is the center of our life as Christians.  We want to make him proud and share the love God has for you. 

A New Beginning

We have been worshiping in Montgomery since 2008.  The congregation began in a rented room at the KOA campground.  We have since moved into the historic church building on Pond Street near downtown Montgomery.  Recently, the church purchased almost 10 acres near Hwy 105 and across the street from the Montgomery High School.  Excitement continues as we seek funding for the construction of our meeting place. 

Our Goal

We simply want to serve the Lord and minister to the community of Montgomery!  We are dedicated to maintaining the New Testament pattern in walk and worship.  You will find we are friendly, loving, truthful,  and helpful family of God. Giving God the glory he deserves requires a daily selfless life that seeks the kingdom and his righteousness first!  If the simple life of a disciple of Jesus is one your goals, then you will fit right in!

Dwight Dell

Welcome to Dwight and Jo Dell who have joined us in the work here in Montgomery! Dwight served the Montgomery church as its first preacher at the beginning of the work in 2008.  He has served the Lord's church in full time ministry for 40 years.  He has preached for churches in Louisiana, California, and in Magnolia, Texas.
