Common sense must rule the day. Our hearts go out to all people, but especially our brothers and sisters around the world that find themselves gripped by such a death dealing microbe. We pray that God will intervene and the suffering will be slowed to a final peaceful stop. We as Christians must remember God’s children are scattered across the globe and every country that has experienced the sting of death is home to those He loves as much as He loves you. Let us continue fervently praying for them as we pray for our own nation and people.
With that please know we cherish every member of the church and are concerned for our safety. Originally, our thought was to continue to assemble as usual, but make adjustments to closeness and individual container communion available. But, with the heightening government caution levels and rising emotions, it seems wise to follow the public suggestions and do our part to reduce contact for the short term.
