His passion for sharing the gospel has taken him on preaching campaigns to many states and foreign countries. He enjoys working with "We Care" Ministries and continues to spend several weeks each year in campaign work.

Her father, before his death, served as a deacon for the Central church of Christ and was a founding board member of Ouachita Christian School in Monroe, La. Their love for the Lord and his work has shaped much of her life and dedication to the work of the church.
They have two children, Paige Waddell and Heath Dell. Paige met her husband, Cory Waddell, at Freed-Hardeman University. They now live and work in The Woodlands Texas, where Cory serves as youth minister for the Woodland Oaks church of Christ . Cory and Paige have one son, Jace Connor. Heath Dell, graduated from Magnolia High School and attended Faulkner University in Montgomery Al. He is currently studying at the American Academy of Golf and business in Carlsbad, Ca. He plans a career in the Golf industry as either an instructor or in management, but hopes to play Professional Golf "for a while" before finally settling down in one location.
Dwight has always tried to actively serve the community in which he lives. As a Veteran, he volunteers with the VA working with several veterans in the Magnolia area that need assistance with transportation to and from the Veteran's Hospital in Houston and the clinic in Conroe. He also serves as a representative with the Magnolia chamber of Commerce. He currently serves the Clear Creek Forest Section 13 POA as treasurer. When time allows, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, golf and playing tennis. He enjoys these opportunities to relax and appreciate God's marvelous creation.
He and Phyllis are looking forward to learning about the rich history of Montgomery and getting to know the good people that call it home.
